Are there any memories that you remember of when you were read out loud to?

Hello everyone, how are you? Today is like every other day, boring and going by slow. The weather is not making anything better, it is really cold and muggy out. But it is close to the end of the day so when I go home I will probably do homework and then go swimming.

When you were a kid were you ever read aloud to? I remeber I was always read aloud to when I was in school, the kids would all sit in a big circle around the teacher and listen to her read a book. But I also remeber being read aloud to by my mom. Before I would go to bed I would always pick out a book, there was always this series of books I went to, they were about the adventures of Franklin the turtle. If I was not read to before I went to bed I would be really upset, this was the time when I could relax with my mom and spend time with her. This was the only time i was read aloud to when I was a kid, I do not fondly remeber any other time, most of the time it was in school or at home with my mom. Were you ever read aloud to when you were a little kid? if so did you have a favorite book you would always choose?
